Pain spreads in many places in the world, many people suffer from pain of various kinds, pain from hunger, pain from wars, pain due to economic deterioration, and other types of suffering that affect people, some people, and some countries in full.
Where are we from this suffering? How can we live next to those who do not have enough food to block their hunger?
Taqat is here! In Dihad 2025
Where relief and sustainability meet, where many people meet the world, where the largest businessmen and many people meet, not only in the Arab world but the whole world.
At Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development, we are trying, thinking, and creating for every person who feels pain and suffering.
What Is Dihad?
DIHAD started in 2004 to provide relief and international development, which is very clear from the name of the conference, Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development.
It is a non-profit institution aimed at exchanging experiences between countries by linking humanitarian parties to some of them to display new technologies and solutions to confront disasters and disputes, and to help all the people who suffer.
It is also trying hard to support sustainable development projects in developing countries and to increase awareness and positive impact globally.
The Dihad exhibition seeks to change the world for the better by taking into account and finding problems with disasters and conflicts, as well as climate problems that Dihad seeks to solve.
Dihad 2025
After the success of 20 rounds of the conference, the time of the 21st session in 2025, new goals, and the Dihad 2025 exhibition will be sought to achieve.
Many participating institutions around the world, including Taqat, aim to enhance the efficiency of fundraising and distribution and advance sustainable development in communities facing crises.
We participate in Dihad 2025 as a thought leader, Taqat provides integrated solutions through various programs to support effective humanitarian work and tries to cover all humanitarian relief methods to maintain its place as one of the companies supporting humanitarian relief programs.
For this aim we have programs like: Relief center, Tayf, Emdad and Edamah.
Why is Taqat is a Thought Leader in Dihad 2025?
Taqat participated in the Dihad 2025 conference, so we will provide you with coverage of the conference’s objectives and what it will focus on achieving this year, 2025.
Conflict and the Evolution of Humanitarian Principles
Are humanitarian principles still sufficient? Or should you develop to keep pace with reality?
The Dihad conference explains this year how conflicts have affected countries. Things are no longer like the previous but rather more complicated due to the presence of proxy wars between countries, non-governmental armed groups, electronic and informational wars, and direct targeting of humanitarian workers.
We all realize the impact of these conflicts on countries in particular and the world in general, as Dihad aims to reach safety between countries so that peace prevails in the world.
Fact models are discussed from the ground in Dihad 2025, such as Palestine, Ukraine, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon.
And this is why we have created our standing programs like Relief Center, Emdad and Edamah. See a full details about Taqat's programs.
The Changing Landscape of Financing
With the increase in conflicts and disputes in the world, and with the increase in the number of people in need of assistance, the financial resources available from government organizations decrease, and money becomes insufficient to cover all needs.
Dihad believes that the world faces several challenges, including the financing gap, as the financial tracking system of the Financial Tracking System reports a 2023 total in humanitarian aid contributions of US$ 34bn, as opposed to US$ 41.5bn in 2022, and numbers in 2024 to date are not encouraging.
Therefore, DIHAD is interested in providing innovative financing models, humanitarian bonds, disaster insurance, and social investment funds.
It is also interested in involving the private sector, such as major companies that enter as financing partners, not only with money but also with ideas, for example, technology companies that provide digital logistics solutions.
Directly funding communities and supporting local organizations rather than relying solely on international organizations.
Taqat positions itself as a thought leader by running several programs that support local financing through charitable initiatives, as demonstrated by the Tayf program.
Furthermore, our Edamah program leads economic empowerment initiatives for affected communities and those in need. Edamah provides solutions aimed at enhancing food security and individual profitability, while also fostering participation in economic development within these communities. The program also promotes investment in renewable energy and other sustainable projects to improve living conditions through clean energy.
Population Displacements | Trends and Challenges
One of the goals of Dihad 2025 is to study the causes and patterns of mass displacement of people due to wars, disasters, or climate change, and the challenges facing the humanitarian world in dealing with this phenomenon.
The most prominent challenges facing displaced persons and refugees are the lack of sufficient funding to support them, weak infrastructure in receiving countries such as schools and hospitals, and discrimination and racism against the displaced.
This negatively affects the country to which they seek refuge, so permanent solutions must be found to this problem, and decisions must be taken to stabilize countries economically, because it certainly affects the countries’ economies greatly.
Other Talks in Dihad 2025
The Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference is concerned with improving cooperation between countries in receiving displaced people and distributing responsibilities, using technology to track the numbers of displaced people, and providing smart aid.
The conference also reviews real success stories in integrating displaced people into the labor market, educating displaced children, and joint projects between refugees and residents, which is a major motivating factor for all countries participating in Dihad 2025.
The role of DIHAD highlights the International Relief and Development Conference and Exhibition in Dubai as one of the most important global platforms that shape this change.
Dihad is a space of hope, but also a space of confrontation with reality, with all its pain and challenges. It is an invitation to the world to come together, not just to give seasonally, but to develop a more efficient, comprehensive, and dignified collective humanitarian strategy.
Dihad is not just an annual event.
It is a space of thought, a field of dialogue, and a platform for real impact.
In addition to Dihad 2025, Taqat remains a thought leader to meet the world’s relief needs locally and internationally.
